So, wow it's been a long time! I'm waiting for Sara to pick me up, so we can go to a birthday party and have a power hour!!!! Maybe! haha.

Greg and I are doing great. He bought a house last weekend. It is in Avilla on Main Street. It is very big and very nice. He is very excited. I was weary in the beginning. But like I said, he is very excited, he has the money, he got an amazing deal, and it will be fantastical.

School is going well. This is my junior year, I am still an elementary education major. I enjoy my classes, they aren't challenging me though. My friend, Crisdale, was telling me that it is because I am good at what I do and that it is coming easily and naturally. I hope she is right and I'm not losing interest. I will student teach next year Spring semester. This worries me, but I am confident that it is what I want to do.

I'm working about 30 hours a week. It is a lot because I am going to school 18 credit hours (which is probably closer to 20 real hours). I work almost every day and am having trouble with being homesick. I went home every weekend my first two years. Now I have only been home about 5 or 6 times. It's kind of depressing. I love it in Muncie, really, but I miss my family and Gizmo and friends and believe it or not Fiesta. Really I guess I work so very much because it's decent money. On average I've made about 380 for two weeks. Not bad, not amazing. I like the girls that I work with. Tina is my manager but I havent worked with her yet. She seems nice though. Kathy is an older woman, ditsy, and very religious, but she's super funny. Katie is about 28 years old and has the cutest two little girls evah! She has had a really hard life, and she really humbles me when I feel down and out. She has had a rough life, yet she is so positive and caring. She is like a big sister. Kim is who I work with most, she is 21, so we're very close in age. I absolutely love her, she is soooo funny and outgoing. She is also very giving and just great overall.

I am also a teaching assistant for History 150. I really enjoy my position because I get to help people my own age instead of little kids. The professor is very nice, he doesn't exactly have the whole core class down yet, but he's getting it, lol!

I joined a sorority this fall. Sigma Kappa. I regret that I didn't join a sorority earlier in college. I haven't told many of my friends, because I'm just not sure what they would think about it. People have stereotypes about 'sorority girls'. I think that is irritating, because just because someone is super pretty doesn't mean they're dumb. My sisters are really diverse, yeah some are "Rachels" like Sara claims, lol, but others are just like me and down to earth. I've gone up and down with how I feel about it and how I fit in and everything, but I enjoy it and I just hope that people can be happy for me. We do a lot of things people don't know about and if anyone actually reads this post and is interested, feel free to ask. I love to talk about it!

Okay Sara is here!

So, it's been a very long time since I've written...

This past week, I went on a cruise with Britt, my parents, and my dad's parents. It was sooo much fun.

The first day
It was kind of a half day. We went to the buffet for lunch. Then we hung out on the top deck by the pool, watched people dance a new kind of electric slide. Then we just hung out until the welcome aboard show. It was a comedian named Rodney Johnson. His show was a lot about parenting and pretty much how you should beat your children. Haha. Britt and I ordered room service, cheese pizza. It was super yummy. A little sea sick, but hey it's a boat.

The second day
We woke up early to get on the ferry boat to Coco Cay. Coco Cay is an island owned by Royal Caribbean. It was soo amazing. It was literally like a commercial. We were in a cabana and everything. We were looking over the rocks and ocean and could see our boat in the distance. It was soooo beautiful. We got out there like 10ish, and didn't get back on the boat until like 3. Lunch. Nap. Dinner. It was a formal night. I wore a black dress and heels, Britt wore a blue dress and heels. An older couple joined our table named Vic and Marcia. They were really very nice. Vic liked to brag, but nice. Vic was retired. Marcia was an accountant for a Catholic School. She wore a lot of very pretty, expensive jewelry. Later that night we went to a show called 'Dancing Through the Movies' by the cruise Singers and Dancers. It was cute. They danced to Footloose, Dirty Dancing, Saturday Night Fever, and other classics. My mom and I gambled a little bit, but not much luck. We were in the hole and decided to call it quits. It was fun though to hang out with my mom and spend some money, lol. Then we went to the comedian's second midnight show. He talked more about sex, famous people, and the like. No sea sickness. Bed.

The third day
We woke up really early and went to Nassau. Brittany and I had an appointment in the Atlantis Resort to swim with the DOLPHINS! It was the BEST part of my vacation. The dolphin's name was Elijah and he was 7 years old and weighed around 280 pounds. These are no flipper sized dolphins, they were gigantic! They gave us wet suits and we went into 'training'. Then we got into the water, with about 8 other people. Elijah came swimming up to us and 'introduced' himself by swimming underneath all of our hands 4 or 5 times. I'll admit the first time I was a little scared, but it didn't take long to get over that. Then we got to kiss him, hug him, feed him, and rub his back and belly. They took pictures of everything, we bought 3 (one of me kissing Elijah, one of Britt hugging him, and one of us together holding on to him) Afterwards, we walked around the Atlantis Resort and looked at all the fish and such. We took tons of pictures!! Then we walked back and went into Versace and Dooney and Burke and other real fancy places. We took the ferry boat back to Nassau and got back on the big cruise boat. We told the rents and grandrents that we would be back around 2. They were all napping when we got back. Lol, so Britt and I had a quick lunch at the buffet. Then we woke their butts up and went back to Nassau. We went to the Straw Market, which is probably the place the devil goes to shop. It was crazy crowded and the women are pushing their fake purses like drugs. And yes I bought a coach, its from the spring line. It looks pretty real. I was comparing it to Britt's coach bag. (Which is actually real, thanks to Amanda ) and it looks real close. Britt and my mom bought Dolce and Gabanna bags. Which I compared to my real Dolce and Gabanna (thanks to my Granny) and the only difference I could find was the circle around the logo was different. So, the purses are good, real good. Especially at a cool $45, where they would be hundreds at other places. Mom, Dad, Britt, and I walked around Nassau and got some Bahama Mama's. Then we went to dinner, as always. The service was impeccable. Later, we saw a juggler. He talked like Beetlejuice or Mitch Hedburg. Pretty funny. My favorite thing he did was juggle glow sticks and he turned the lights off, really neat! I suppose I'm easy to amuse. We walked the deck for a while. There was a midnight buffet. It was pretty sick though, there was a whole pig with an apple in his mouth and everything. It was really really windy. The boat was rocking pretty good that night, so we turned in fairly early, like 1:30.

The fourth day
This was the last day on the actual boat. Britt and I slept in til Mom woke us up at 9:30ish. Which was good because it was so dark in the cabin, we could have slept alllll day. We all showered and got ready. We got some quick breakfast at the buffet. This was the day that we laid out by the pool ALL day. Britt and I looked for a chair everywhere, but no luck. So, we just went up to the second deck and layed our towels on the ground. We couldn't take that for very long, it was extremely hot!!!! So we went and sat with our feet in the pool and just relaxed. The rest of the fam got down on the deck and we all just sat around, talked, relaxed, had a great day. Papa found us some chairs. My papa also was in the belly flop contest. He did pretty good, especially for a near 70 year old man. He's pretty much amazing. We went in around 5 and cleaned up a little for dinner. After dinner we saw the singers and dancers again in a production called Flashback. They danced through the decades. The 50's was my favorite. So it was def. a day of reading by the pool, taking in some rays and well awesome-ness.

Random
We went to see a guitarist. He did all requests. Sadly, he didn't know any Ben Folds. I didn't expect him to. He played a lot of Journey, Cat Stevens, Jimmy Buffett, Tom Petty, Steve Miller and the like. One evening we ordered hot chocolate and I spilled it all over the bed!!! Ugh, I was so mad. The weather was just amazing!!! I didn't get seasick too often, only a little bit twice. The cabin was really small, but cozy in a way. The pool was filled with sea water, which I found interesting, but it makes sense. Why pay for water, when one is surrounded by it?

Well that's all I suppose. It was quite enough I think!!!

So, this break has been crazy....

It was really rough in the beginning... a lot of crying... but ummm shit happens, I guess. To be honest, I really felt like undesirable as a friend or something. Like, who would want to be my friend? I don't know. Andrea, the girls at work, and a certain someone : Thanks for really making me feel better.

Then things started getting better and Christmas came and rocked my socks.
I hate to be a spoiled brat but wow, I really got everything I wanted. (including a new cell phone, a Louis Vuitton purse, 2 new jackets, juicy couture, nolly, and fantasy perfumes, a really awesome picture frame thing with pictures of greg and I, new clothes, and other things)

Lately, I've just been working and catching up. Brittany, Greg, Branden, and I went to a party in South Bend for New Years. It was a lot of fun. I've discovered that I don't really like to drink around strangers. I didn't get drunk. But to me, that's fine. I can have fun with out drinking.

So, if anyone reads this before the 6th, when I return to Muncie, call me if you'd like. I do work Fri. thru Sun., but call call call. lol.

To Do:
-Finish art project
-Download a few more bands for Greg
-Get some music off of Britt's computer
-Balance my check book with the bank statement
-Print out Biology study guide and finish
-Complete art power point

So, I went from LOVING my job... to so-so liking my job... to HATING my job... and now I'm back at so-so. I'll take that though. The drama has considerably dropped. I know certain people are still talking behind my back, but come on that's so high school and I can be a bigger person about it. Really. I'm considering dropping my Friday nights. But that means a smaller check... which is less money?
So, before Christmas? -No... After Christmas? -Probably.

Britt is done with her paper... yippeee... bring on the stress free nights... [haha yeah right] ...How about, bring on the less stress nights. whoo hoo. lol.

First of all, RIP Patrick!! You'll be missed. I know we weren't really close or anything, but I do think that you were a great guy.
Second, everyone should give Nicole Harris their support. Call her, Text her, Hug her. She's in a time of need. I love her very much and it breaks my heart.
Third, please everyone needs to be careful. ALL the time. Death isn't fun, and it can happen to anyone. Please be safe and aware.

So, my Birthday... phenomenal!!!

Friday- Went to class, hung out at LeRoy's, went home to redo my hair and makeup, went to Outback for dinner (which was delicious, but took for stinkin' ever!!!), went back to LeRoy's apartment, people started to come over, played hockey, just sat around, talked, and had a blast

Saturday- Greg and I went to CHICAGO!!! It was amazing. We went shopping (He bought me a zippie from Express and a tank top from H&M ... I'm too picky to buy more, lol). Then we went to the Navy Pier, it was my first time. It is sooo neat and romantic and fun and just everything you could ask for. Then we went to Millennium Park and looked at all the awesome art work. We missed our train and had to wait for the 11:15 train. So, we ate at the Park Grill and it was yummy. We sat around at the train station and played eye spy, the question game, hot hands, and other silly little games. hehe. So, we get on the train and there are the MOST OBNOXIOUS people on the whole planet on the train. I kinda wanted to punch them in the esophagus. period. haha. We got home around 4:00 or so. I went straight to sleep.

Sunday- Our Actual Birthday!!! Had an amazing breakfast via my daddy. We all got to pick what we wanted, I picked pancakes. Then I had to go to work (which sucked). I was schedule until 5, but I got to leave at 3:30. People came over around 4. (Darcy, Jarrod, Andrea, Greg <3, Uncle Matt and family, Uncle Steve and Amanda) We all just sat around and ate delicious food my mom made. So, we left around 7:15. Greg decided to come down to Muncie with me for the night, which was really nice and made me feel really special. So, we drove back to Muncie, and what do we find when we get back?? Sara and Cori taped our door!!! It was sooo awesome. I love those girls. Cori also made a cake and it was really cute and tasty too. Then Greg and I layed around and watched "The Ex" which was funny, but not spectacular. Finally, I got the blow up bed from Sara and went to sleep... but something was wrong with it, maybe missing the plug or something because it went flat like every two hours. So, I don't know.

So, overall every thing was amazing and I couldn't have asked for anything more. Thanks to everyone, you all really know how to make a girl feel special!!! LOVE!!! ♥

Cassie,
I'm sorry this has happened to you. I'm sorry you had to go like that. I know you're in a better place now. I wish I would have spoke about you at your funeral, it probably would have gotten the ball rolling. I'm sorry.

I wrote your family a letter, but I was too afraid to give it to them.

I knew you as a team mate first...you were an amazing dancer. I enjoyed being on Knightettes with you for three years. I remember from the beginning you were determined and talented. You made friends quickly. You had great imagination and choreographed some really great pieces. As you were on the team again and again we knew you played a vital role.

I also knew you as a friend. I loved your bubbily personality. I loved how you would literally jump around when you were excited.

I will keep you forever in my prayers and I know you're a beautiful angel now.

I hope your family likes the pictures I made for April, Chelsea, Jesse, and I to put in your casket.

Finally, I will miss you something awful. I will pray for Nathan to recover. I love you and miss you already. I will get all the girls and everyone else together next year to celebrate you and to visit your grave.

So, it's been kind of a long time since I posted. Not much is different.

EXCEPT... I lost the ring Greg gave me for our 1 yr anniversary/ Christmas present. So I've had it since I was 14 years old and I lost it sometime late last week. I'm pretty much devastated. :(((((

I'm feeling a little down in the dumps lately... and those who have been around me lately would be like 'what? no way?' Well.. the truth is that I just don't want to bring anyone else down. I don't know what is exactly wrong or anything. (So, it isn't specifically anyONE or anyTHING)

Anyway, I want live journal to become cool again...so I can figure out what in the world has been going on in everyone's life.... but no one will read this probably because it's long and I started out with the phrase "So, it's been kind of a long time since I posted. Not much is different."

I love and miss EACH and EVERY one of you. (Especialllllly the ones who read this and comment me, hehe)

She is soo giving. To me, it just seems like most of the time, she doesn't get anything in return... not even something simple like a little consideration.

She is the best friend a girl could ask for.

So, this coming week I will catch up with friends that live down here. That should be fun. I will go to the beach 4 or so more times. The possibilities are endless.

I miss you all very much. Sara, fire when we return? I have to work the Monday night I get back, but maybe after wards?

Haha, and today my Papa is taking me to talk German to this old lady he knows. weird, but looks to be fun.

Cobra Starship was AMAZING! They were so energetic. Great stage presence. A+
Paul Wall...sucked. He could have been worse though. 'What it do' He also sold grills for $30 if you bought them that day. He calls himself the People's Champ. haha... he's not my champ. C-
The Academy Is... was also impressive. I think they wear the tightest pants in show business. Their set could have been a lot longer though. They didn't play, 'Down and Out' but they did play other great ones and opened with 'The Phrase That Pays'. A
(+44) was really great. Their sound was fucked up though. Mark was pissed, he threw a microphone stand off of the stage. lol. Victoria, from Cobra Starship, sang the female part of 'Make You Smile' and did a good job so that made me really happy. We danced like crazy! A
Fall Out Boy had the best actual show, because they had all the lights, big screens, fire, smoke, confetti, and the whole 9 yards. But they were headlining so I understand. I'm not really a fan though, but I have to admit Patrick has the best vocal range of any live male performer I've seen. And people go CRAZY over Pete Wentz, and honestly he's not even that cute. wtf? You should have seen the fans there. B

Then we left a little bit early to beat the traffic and went to Waffle House. (BTW Sara those crazy amazon sounding birds are still living at the Waffle House.)
Then we drove home and I was soooo tired. I went to bed ASAP.

A GREAT time was had by all. :)

Came back to the cabin and got our bathing suits back on
Layed out for like another hour
Went out on the paddle boat again
Ate Dinner
Drove home and changed into jeans
Went to Rickey Appel's party (lame... as expected)
Went out to Branden Croy's woods
Played "Thunderstruck"... I was the one that got screwed (Britt and Sara know what I'm talking about)
Came home and fell asleep on the couch like mid- sentence.

TO DO:

1. Stop or lessen the use of phrases like "I can't help it that I'm smart and funny and cute and ..."
♥ APPARENTLY people don't know that I'm joking.
2. Get paid... I don't know what the heck is up with my paycheck...I don't get paid until the 15th
♥ Which is stickin' ridiculous, considering I've worked there for like 3 weeks now.
3. Hang out with Brittany Davis and Felecia Manahan
♥ I was supposed to call Britt today, but I decided to work out and go to Wal-Mart
4. Hang out with all my other friends.
5. Figure out some Florida plans with my parents and grandparents
♥ I think I will get to hang out with Nicole Fabin...which would make my whole year.
6. Dance more... I haven't lately... I miss it...
♥ I think I'll get together with April and/or Chelsea.
♥ I think in fact I am going to take dance courses this fall at BSU.

That's a good list.
